Founded in Barcelona in 1989, Club Metropolitan has played a leading role in shaping Spain’s modern fitness scene. In 2012, Metropolitan opened its 18th location in Gijón, a 3,500 sqm space inside Sporting’s El Molinón Stadium. The club features premium training zones alongside spa, beauty, and dietitian services — a signature combination seen throughout the brand.
Across all locations, members train with top-of-the-line equipment from ARTIS, TechnoGym, and Pure Strength. Each club offers more than 1,200 group sessions per month, including HIIT, yoga, Pilates, cycling, boxing, and outdoor training.
