What to Expect From A Shimis Yoga Session
Shimis Yoga offers two striking workout concepts and spaces. The Box offers a vinyasa yoga practice in a heated, dark room with lighting effects to complete the experience. The Greenhouse is an open room with natural light and a plant wall as a background, adding a touch of nature and serenity to the session. This space offers a range of yoga practices such as vinyasa, yin, meditation and more.
The Reception Service
The reception experience stood out from the start, with strong support before arrival. Communication was proactive and helpful, with clear directions, follow-ups and flexibility when the initial visit could not be completed. The situation was handled smoothly, and options were offered to reschedule, which set a positive tone ahead of the visit.
On arrival, everything ran efficiently and felt well organised. We were recognised straight away, check-in was quick, and a clear orientation was provided without needing to ask. Practical details such as facilities, equipment and setup were explained clearly, and support was offered throughout. After class, staff followed up, asked about the session and explained package options confidently, while also tailoring suggestions based on our routine. The overall approach was attentive, personal and consistent across the full journey.

The class was a strong part of the experience, with a clear structure and a supportive coaching style throughout. Instructions were easy to follow, demonstrations were clear and the flow of the session made it simple to stay engaged from start to finish. The atmosphere felt positive and well paced, with good energy across the room.
There was a clear focus on individual support. The coach checked for injuries at the start, adapted equipment where needed and provided regular feedback during the session. Corrections and encouragement were delivered in a way that felt helpful without being overwhelming. The class finished with a structured cooldown and a follow-up after, which added a personal touch and rounded off the session well.
The Equipment And Studio
The studio environment was visually distinctive and well maintained. Different areas of the space offered contrasting atmospheres, with one side feeling calmer and more natural, while the main training studio had a more energetic setup with darker finishes and stronger lighting. This added variety and made the space feel more dynamic.
Equipment was set up in advance, clean and in excellent condition, with enough space for everyone to move comfortably. The layout supported the flow of the class, and lighting and sound helped create an immersive training environment. Branding was integrated through design details and lighting features, giving the studio a clear and recognisable identity.
The Facilities And Public Areas
The public areas were clean, spacious and easy to navigate, with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere throughout. The entrance created a good first impression, and the layout made it simple to move between different areas of the studio. Seating was comfortable, and the environment felt well maintained.
Changing areas and bathrooms were also well presented, with clean facilities, good water pressure in the showers and a reliable setup overall. Lockers were secure and easy to use, and towels were available and neatly arranged. The overall finish was polished, although the range of grooming amenities was more limited compared to some higher-end studios.

The digital journey was straightforward and easy to use. Classes could be booked through the website or app, with a clear system for viewing schedules and managing bookings. The process worked without issue, and payment could be completed online.

Social media channels were active and gave a good sense of the experience. The main gap was the lack of confirmation or follow-up communication after booking, which reduced clarity before arrival. Despite this, the overall experience remained simple and accessible.

Shimis Yoga offers an introductory deal for first-time clients. Newcomers can enjoy their first class for a discounted rate of 80AED.
If you’re looking for a longer-term commitment, memberships are available from 1,350AED for 15 classes per month up to 2,700AED for 30 classes.
Drop-in sessions are available at 125AED per class, with smaller commitment packages also available, starting at a five-pack for 575AED.
