What To Expect From A Heartcore Session
Heartcore is a Pilates concept that offers both mat and ‘Coreformer’ classes. Classes are typically 60 minutes long and offer smaller class sizes than most, allowing for extra individualized attention from the instructor.
Find Your Flow is recommended as a good introductory session for beginners, with Coreformer Pilates and and Heartcore On The Mat their standard all-level offerings.
Heartcore offers a host of on-demand digital classes that cover a range of goals and methods, such as strength work, stretching and pre- and post-natal.
The Reception Service
Our phone call to Heartcore Chelsea was calm and professional, with all the key details on classes, pricing, and amenities shared clearly. It ticked the informational boxes but felt more like answering questions than sparking excitement.
When we arrived, there was no dedicated reception desk, so check-in was handled by the coach while they were juggling other clients. It took a moment to be greeted, but once they were free, the welcome was friendly and efficient, with a quick orientation to the changing rooms and water station. The setup felt a bit informal, but we were pointed in the right direction and off to class without fuss.
After class, there was a friendly chat with some fun chat on how the session compared to other workouts. While the tone stayed upbeat, it focused more on sharing thoughts than asking about our goals or suggesting next steps. Overall, the vibe was pleasant and easygoing.

The Class Experience
The Class Experience was impressive and has received The Fit Guide Class Experience Award of Excellence.
The class at Heartcore Chelsea was an hour of calm focus with just the right dose of energy. The coach led with quiet confidence, keeping things structured, smooth, and surprisingly quick-moving for a full-length session. Clear instructions and easy flow made the workout feel purposeful from start to finish.
Everyone was welcomed personally, and first-timers were given a hands-on intro to the reformer machine that made the setup simple. Cues were sharp, form corrections were discreet, and help was always on hand without disrupting the rhythm. The balance of support and professionalism was spot on.
The cooldown wrapped things up on a mellow, feel-good note, and the coach stuck around afterwards to chat and answer questions. With approachable energy and a strong connection to the group, the whole session felt welcoming and easy to enjoy.
The Equipment And Studio
The studio made an immediate impression, feeling calm, pristine, and beautifully designed. A soft citrus scent, gentle music, and warm lighting created an inviting atmosphere, while the branded wall logo, lush greenery, and striking artwork gave the space a distinct sense of style and identity.
The star of the session was the Coreformer, which was spotless, in perfect working condition, and spaced so everyone had room to move comfortably. While the equipment itself didn’t feature branded elements, it was presented neatly and fully stocked for every participant, regardless of ability level.
The wider training area was equally impressive, with flawless floors and thoughtfully placed decor. The lighting and temperature were all on point, and the high-quality sound system added polish to the whole experience.
The Facilities And Public Areas
The studio’s design brought a sense of calm and style the moment we stepped inside. Wooden floors, black ceilings with exposed pipework, and plenty of greenery created a welcoming, slightly urban vibe, while soft music and a fresh citrus scent made the atmosphere feel relaxed.
The changing and grooming areas continued the same clean aesthetic with neat cubicles, functioning hairdryers, and free shower towels presented tidily. Showers were spotless and well-stocked.
Complimentary water was available, but there were no snacks, drinks, or retail options to grab, and workout towels weren’t supplied. Branding was kept low-key but, overall, we loved the space.
Digital And Technology
The digital experience felt smooth and stress-free, with the website and app making it easy to buy classes, book sessions, and even cancel if needed. The booking process was intuitive, fast, and bug-free, and the confirmation email clearly explained arrival details, induction steps, and policies.
The website had a nice mobile-friendly design that matched the brand’s tone perfectly. Class descriptions, bios, and schedules were easy to find, and navigation felt effortless, with no glitches or broken links.
Social media was another strong point, with regular updates and an on-brand look that reflected the studio experience.
