The spotless studio gave the whole visit a polished feel.

What Our Evaluator Had To Say

“I enjoyed the experience and found the coach to be friendly and helpful."

“The class was well planned and I was able to go at the pace that suited me."

“The website looked great and really matched the vibe of the studio."

What To Expect From A Oncore Ride Session

Ride is Oncore’s signature 45-minute “spin” class. In a Ride session you’ll move to the beat of the music, with the instructor taking the 40 riders through a challenging session that will include sprints, hills and hand weight upper body exercises.

The Reception Service

We were unable to talk to the club prior to our visit, as our three call attempts were not answered.

On arrival, we were greeted warmly and quickly checked in — but the orientation was basic, and we had to ask other members where to find essentials like the bathrooms and water.

During our visit, the receptionist’s friendliness stood out. She offered thoughtful touches, like suggesting we shower while she looked up information, but the lack of working wifi meant she couldn’t answer questions about memberships or packages.

After class, the receptionist asked if we’d enjoyed the class and jotted down our feedback and interest in memberships in her notebook. However, no real effort was made to talk through packages or guide us toward a next visit.

The Class Experience

Oncore received The Fit Guide Class Experience Award of Excellence, making it one of London’s stand-out offerings.

Our coach came across as warm, approachable and clearly enjoyed leading the session. Her explanations of what was coming up next helped the ride flow smoothly, and she offered simple guidance like “go at your own pace” to keep things accessible for everyone, especially first timers.

Before class, the coach took the time to explain the bike setup and even offered pointers on form, like not locking knees when standing, which made us feel prepared and comfortable. However, she didn’t take the extra step of learning our name or asking about our fitness background, and no personal touchpoints or name use came through during the ride.

The energy in the room was upbeat, with a lively playlist keeping everyone moving, and the post-class cooldown felt like a smooth wrap-up. The coach thanked everyone and shared a kind word on our effort.

The Equipment And Studio

The studio left a great impression thanks to how fresh and spotless it felt. The lighting setup, with strips running along the ceiling and mirrors, added a nice touch of atmosphere that lifted the ride experience.

The space between bikes was pretty tight, and while the studio had a couple of logo decals on the mirror, there weren’t many other branding elements tying the space together, so it didn’t feel as distinctively “Oncore” as it could have.

With high-quality Schwinn bikes, a clean and airy vibe, and a sound system that kept the playlist pumping, the environment was strong overall.

The Facilities And Public Areas

Workout towels were not provided, and shower towels could be rented for £2. Lockers were provided with number locks. Free water refill stations were available.

The public spaces were generally basic and functional, with no standout design features. The female only changing area was tight on space.

Digital And Technology

Oncore's website looked sharp and was easy to navigate, with great photography that gave us a real feel for what the studio is all about. Booking was smooth, the schedule was clear, and we got all the essentials. Their social channels also looked polished, showing off the vibe of the studio, even if posts weren’t that frequent.
