What To Expect From A Pilates Circuit Session
Pilates Circuit offers 50-minute classes with high-quality equipment and reformers. The programs are designed to help you develop “ninja” strength and mobility without the bulk of traditional gym training.
Classes offered include Reformer Pilates, Beginner Reformer Pilates and a pulse-raising option, Cardio Pilates.
The Reception Service
When we called Pilates Circuit Wandsworth, we received a warm and enthusiastic explanation of the concept, clear descriptions of the classes, and friendly answers to our questions. This created a positive first impression and left us genuinely excited for our session.
Things fell a bit flat when we arrived. The doors to the studio were only opened eight minutes before class, and we were simply pointed toward the studio without much guidance. There was no orientation about facilities like bathrooms or where to wait, and the check-in process was just a quick tick on a register once we’d set up in the studio. It felt like the focus of the venue.
When the class ended, there wasn’t anyone around to chat with or ask about memberships or future sessions. We weren’t asked how we enjoyed the class, and there was no attempt to encourage us to return.

The Class Experience
Pilates Circuit Wandsworth received our Recommended rating for the Class Experience.
The class had plenty of positives, with a coach who worked hard to guide everyone and offer form corrections throughout. The session was clearly delivered with demonstrations and explanations that made each move easy to follow, and beginners were given extra attention to ensure they felt comfortable. There was a mix of group encouragement and individual help, which gave the class an approachable feel, even when the exercises became more challenging.
Our coach only revealed at the end that they thought the class was “intermediate,” which caught a few of us off guard and led to some confusion — especially since the class was meant for all levels. The class also wrapped up a few minutes late, and with the next session quickly moving in, there wasn’t much time for follow-up or personal connection after the cooldown.
Overall, it was a solid and enjoyable class that offered a good workout and supportive guidance.
The Equipment And Studio
The Pilates Circuit studio felt clean and tidy, with plenty of equipment in good working order and a layout that made it easy to move around and complete each exercise. The reformers and other apparatus were of a high standard.
The space itself, while functional, didn’t have much personality. Aside from a few Pilates Circuit signs on the walls, there weren’t any branding touches, lighting effects, or design elements to make it feel memorable or distinctive.
The Facilities And Public Areas
The public spaces at Pilates Circuit had a functional feel. The main entrance doubled as the jiu-jitsu studio, with mats dominating the space and the Pilates area tucked away at the back, which gave more of a community hall vibe than a dedicated boutique studio. While there were toilets and showers available, they felt like an afterthought for Pilates clients, especially given their distance from the studio space.
Cleanliness and condition were mixed. Some areas, like the showers and toilets, were serviceable but showed signs of wear. Amenities were sparse, with only handwash provided, and both workout and shower towels were missing altogether.
Overall, the space worked for its purpose but lacked the polished, branded atmosphere you’d expect from a Pilates-focused studio.
Digital And Technology
Booking a class online was smooth and intuitive, with clear functionality that made the process easy from beginning to end. A confirmation email arrived instantly, and the website stood out with its upbeat tone and clear descriptions of class types, giving a great sense of what to expect.
The website did a solid job representing the brand, with coach bios, clear scheduling, and inspiring copy that explained the studio’s mission to bring top-tier Pilates equipment and training to Wandsworth “and beyond.” Social media was visually consistent and on-brand but not updated frequently.
